Issue #3 - GRETA GIVES GUY SOME GOOD CLEAN HOLIDAY FUN

Greta knew she was going out on a limb when she bought the Christmas gifts for Guy Thompson. After all, her very first interview was about to come out in Face Magazine and Guy hadn’t really gushed over her story. No, the handsome editor had been all business when she turned in her saucy little expose on the Hollywood movie star and notorious bad boy, Zane Craven.

It was beginning to snow when Greta walked up 14th Street and entered the lobby at Face Headquarters. She shook off the few flakes that had just begun falling and checked to see that the bright red and beribboned boutique bag was safe. Tucked inside, she had carefully arranged the four GreatSkin products for men. She had heard through the New York media grapevine that Guy took meticulous care of himself - from his Prada suits to his Gucci shoes. He even had a lifetime fitness membership to Crunch!

After all, she had written a great story, even if Guy hadn’t said so, and she deserved a treat. Greta felt totally glam as she unbuttoned her faux fur coat and rode up the elevator to Face. For a second she imagined Guy after his shower, about to use that GreatSkin Muscle Rub, but she quickly tried to put that image out of her mind. After all, he was her editor.

"Greta!" Guy suddenly called out the moment the elevator doors opened. "What have you got here?" He cheekily took the gift bag from her. "For me?" he laughed, patting her on the back and leading her down the hallway.

"Yes, actually," Greta said, following Guy into his office.

Guy unwrapped the gifts and began studying the GreatSkin products. "These are terrific, Greta!" he said, looking up and smiling at her "Just what I need!" He uncapped the tube of moisturizer and inhaled. "Nice!"

"I’m glad you like them," Greta said, suddenly wondering if he was ever going to say something nice about her article, or would he spend their appointment discussing his skin care! "Guy," she interrupted. "What did you think of my Zane Craven story?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, did you like it?"

"It’s going to run in Face Magazine’s next issue."

"Yes, but did you like it?"

"Hmmmm..." Guy leaned forward. "I think we’re going to have to discuss that over dinner, Greta. Are you free tonight?"

"Yes, I think I am," she said, smiling, wondering if perhaps Guy would have a gift for her.
