Greta Shares Her Skincare Tips here!
Issue
#23 - Face to Face
Greta lowered her Ray-Bans as she walked into the Ivy's patio, looking for her lunch companion. Scattered about, she saw the usual Hollywood types--producers, D-Girls, directors and screenwriters. Oh and yes, plenty of movie stars. But Zane Craven never went to the Ivy and so it was a safe bet that she wouldn't run into him here. And this was important, because Guy Thompson had asked her to meet him. Alone. He said it was important and Greta hoped that perhaps he had forgiven her for the St. Bart's fiasco and was ready to begin their romance anew.
"Greta!" Guy called out and waved to her.
"Hello, Guy," she smiled as he stood up and kissed her on the cheek before pulling out a chair for her. She was so glad she looked so good. She was wearing her new Alexander McQueen cropped pants and Jimmy Choo strappy sandals, and just that night she had started her new summer skincare program. She began by pouring a few drops of GreatSkin's Pearlescent Exfoliating Cleanser into the palm of her hand and then mixing it with water until it foamed just a bit and then gently massaged it into her face. Next, she applied GreatSkin's Aloe & Azulene Masque, the perfect thing after a chemical peel because it hydrated and smoothed and left her skin feeling like silk.
After Greta gently removed the mask with a warm, damp washcloth, she applied GreatSkin's Vitamin C Toner with Lemon and Grapefruit Extracts. It's a fabulous anti-oxidant that left her skin refreshed, toned and protected and smelled like a citrus garden! Next Greta applied GreatSkin's Vitamin C Infusion 30% Crème. It did wonders on those deeper lines.
Finally, Greta dabbed just a little bit of GreatSkin's Vibran C Firming Eye Gelee.
It was packed with high dose Vitamin C protein complex and truly made the skin around Greta's eyes look brighter and smoother.
"Guy, it's so good to see you again." Greta couldn't help but think that the handsome Guy Thompson, editor in chief of Face Magazine must be doing well, because somehow he looked even handsomer than the last time she saw him--if that was possible. Perhaps he'll want me to come back to work at Face Magazine, she mused.
And then, as if reading her mind, Guy leaned forward and said, conspiratorially, "Greta, I have an assignment for you."
"You need me back in New York?"
"No."
Greta felt a wave of disappointment, but then Guy took her hand and looked into her eyes. "Greta, I want you to write a feature article for Face."
"Oh, Guy," she laughed. "That's great. I'll tell Zane I can't work for his production company anymore."
Guy held her hand, even more tightly, and whispered. "Not yet, Greta.
Stay with his company. I need you there. In fact, I want you to write an expose on our favorite Hollywood indie film bad boy! Are you up for that?"
Greta took her hand away and sighed. She wanted to be back at Face, to
be working for Guy again, but at what cost? That was the question.
