Greta Shares Her Skincare Tips

Issue #29 - Greta's Valentine

The noonday sun warmed Greta as she relaxed in the deck chair overlooking the green and brown hills of Provence. Greta closed her eyes and thought of Guy. Here it was, almost Valentine's Day and they were apart once again. In the distance, she could hear the crew setting up for the next scene where Zane was starring in a film about a beautiful French heiress and an American outlaw. Yes, Zane always played the bad boy--in movies, as well as in life. Now that he had insisted she come to France, he was completely ignoring her and chasing after the famous French starlet.

Greta sighed. If only she could be in New York with Guy. But no, she was here with Zane Craven and the Hollywood crowd. And yes, she was also covering the story of the making of the film for Vogue Magazine. It was a wonderful opportunity. Greta couldn't deny that, but still she wondered what Guy was doing at that moment and if he would enjoy the gift she had sent him--an elegant selection of men's grooming products, all made in France. And she wondered if perhaps he would ever forgive her for the mishap in New York and her wild night on the town with Zane--which the paparazzi blew way out of proportion, as always!

Greta imagined how Guy would react when he received her early-Valentine's Day gift. He was such a handsome man, and so well groomed, she knew just what would get his attention. She imagined Guy when he received the products and how he'd enjoy trying them out the very next morning. She smiled as she thought of him inhaling the L'Occitane Shower Gel for Men. It smelled so masculine, so woody. Next, he would cleanse with L'Occitane CADE Bark Scrub. "Message for Mademoiselle Greta." A voice interrupted her reverie.

Greta looked up to find the concierge holding the hotel phone out for her. Greta took it and quickly said hello.

"Greta." It was Guy! "I love everything you sent!"

"I'm so glad," Greta said, breathlessly.

"When are you coming back, Greta? I must see you."

Greta smiled to herself. Oh yes, she thought, perhaps she really will have the opportunity to get close enough to Guy to inhale the fragrance of L'Occitane, and celebrate Valentine's Day in style, after all.

To take the best possible care of your skin, do what Greta does!

Greta's skincare regimen includes:

• Getting a professional facial from her esthetician once a month
• Doing a mini facial (including a scrub and mask) at least 3x weekly
• Applying a C Serum product and sunblock daily
• Using anti oxidants to combat skin aging (fyi - aging starts in your twenties!)
• Never going to bed without removing makeup to make sure her pores stay unclogged
• Always cleansing her skin twice in both the morning and night so important serums can penetrate effectively (and following with a toner to re-establish Ph balance and hydrate)
• Using an eye cream and drinking eight glasses of water every day
• Sleeping on her back to avoid developing lines and wrinkles from pillow and sheets
