Issue #32 - Sharing The Beauty Secret

"Don't breathe a word of it!" Guy's sister laughed and took a little sip of her iced latte. Greta had agreed to meet Allison at Nice Matin on 79th Street. It was a beautifully sunny Saturday afternoon, perfect for enjoying the outdoor café. "It's Guy's birthday next month and my parents want to throw him a little bash on the Vineyard."

Greta wondered--was there really such a thing as a little bash at the Thompson Compound on Martha's Vineyard? She smiled at Allison and asked, "and how many people for this 'little bash'?"

"Oh, about two hundred!"

Both girls laughed.

"So, Greta, you'll come?"

"Yes, of course!"

Greta wouldn't miss it, but she would have to buy that fabulous Michael Kors dress she saw in the February issue of Vogue. It would mean skimping on lunches out after this, but when Guy saw her in the elegant black and white brush-stroke dress, she knew it would be worth the sacrifice!

"Yes, I know why you're glowing! It's because you're in love with my brother!"

Greta laughed, delighted. "It's true!" she agreed. "But, I have another secret."

"Really?"
