Issue #42 - Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams

Greta couldn't believe her good fortune. Here she was at the glamorous (and oh-so-French!) Bubble Lounge in New York City, celebrating her new role as the cover girl model for GreatSkin. The incredibly handsome Mark James, perfumer for GreatSkin, smiled at Greta as he ordered a bottle of champagne.

"Domaine Ste. Michelle," he told the waiter, with the confidence of a man who knew his champagne. "Blanc de Blancs."
"Actually, Greta," he said, gazing deeply into her eyes. "It's not champagne. It's technically a sparkling wine and it's delicious, subtle and very lovely. Like you."

Greta could feel herself blush. Ever since she began modeling for GreatSkin, it seemed as if Mark James was nearby, banishing memories of Guy Thompson and her days at Face Magazine. In fact, she could feel herself slowly falling in love with this mysterious man who was now lifting a glass and making a toast."

"To our new GreatSkin Cover Girl!" he announced and then whispered, "You know your skin is absolutely luminous tonight."

Greta was so glad she had started her new skincare regime that week, starting her day with a GreatSkin Soft Papaya and Pumpkin Masque.  This special treat did wonders to smooth and retexturize her skin.  Afterwards, Greta applied GreatSkin Papaya Enzyme Cleanser--a foamy cleanser that was full of exfoliating enzymes and left her skin feeling immaculate, radiant and totally energized.  Greta then indulged in GreatSkin Exfoliating Enzyme Scrub. Now, any fine lines in her skin were diminished, plus she could go out into the world, protected from the free radicals in the environment.

Still, Greta knew she didn't need to be protected from Mark James. It was true, she was falling a little bit in love with this mysterious perfumer and she wanted to get to know him better.

"Mark," she whispered.  "I was wondering how you became a perfumer? It's such a rare talent." Mark smiled at her. His eyes twinkled for a moment and then he laughed. "Well, I studied with the world's finest perfumers. In Paris, of course," he said with the confidence of a man who has traveled all over the world and knew many, many things. "Paris. Of course," Greta agreed.

And with that, Greta took a sip of the delicious Domaine Ste. Michelle, looked around The Bubble Lounge, at the mirrors and velvet settees and suddenly she felt transported. In fact, just being with Mark James made her feel as if she had just arrived at the most romantic destination in the world.  Yes, Paris!
