Issue #47 - Greta's Summer Regatta

Greta held on tight to the sloop as the wind blew wildly through her hair. The waves hit the side of the catboat, and Greta couldn't help but admire how Guy Thompson expertly pulled the main sheet around. They were moving fast, tilting and heeling into the waters around Martha's Vineyard. Surely, Guy Thompson would win the annual race, as he had in every summer since he turned fourteen.

Even though her heart now belonged to the perfumer, Mark James, Greta was glad that she had remained friends with Guy and that he had invited her to be his sailing partner. This year was a particularly important race because Guy was sailing a vintage catboat that he had spent all winter restoring to its former elegance. But now as the other sailors seemed to gain on them, the big question was would they win and was the new boat truly sea worthy?

Guy pulled the sheets tighter. "Greta," he called into the wind.  "The ocean suits you!  You look gorgeous!"

Greta laughed, feeling radiant from the wind and the waves and the excitement of competition, but it was more than this. "That's because of her name--Greta's Return! Isn't she a beauty!" he told the crowd that had formed around the boat. But then, Guy Thompson gave Greta a mysterious smile and she was left wondering exactly where her heart belonged.

• Getting a professional facial from her esthetician once a month
• Doing a mini facial (including a scrub and mask) at least 3x weekly
• Applying a C Serum product and sunblock daily

• Never going to bed without removing makeup to make sure her pores stay unclogged
