#48 - Beauty Secrets and a Winning Game Plan
Greta couldn't believe her good fortune. Here she was at the Yale/Harvard game. She was glad Yale was ahead--after all, her dad had graduated from the venerable institution and her mom taught French literature there--but she had to admit she was also happy to be wearing her brand new J. Crew cashmere sweater set. And she was even happier to snuggle up to the handsome GreatSkin perfumer, Mark James.
"Greta," Mark smiled at her. "I think you're rooting for the winning team!"
"It sure looks that way. I guess I'm just a lucky girl," Greta laughed.
It was half time now and Mark and Greta arranged their picnic lunch of fresh Black Forest Ham with Gruyere cheese sandwiches bought from New Haven's famous and very popular Atticus café and bookstore. Mark took a sip of coffee and looked thoughtfully at Greta. "You know, it's not that you're just lucky," he began. "You're beautiful too."
Greta couldn't help but blush. She knew that beauty involved beauty secrets, such as GreatSkin's Natural Seaweed Extract. She used it every morning to soothe and refresh her skin, and in fact, it was such a versatile product, that she gave a bottle to her dad to use after shaving.
"Your eyes, Greta," Mark continued, "They're so youthful."
And again, Greta could only mysteriously say thank you, keeping another secret -- La Roche-Posay Substiane Eyes. All the way from France, this wonderful little crème hydrated and smoothed out her delicate under eye area, giving Greta a vibrant glow and a bright-eyed smile. And since Greta was aware of the passage of time and how the environment can damage skin, she added a new GreatSkin product to her arsenal of youth enhancing products--GreatSkin Retinol 10X Serum. What a fabulous product and the amazing part is Greta didn't even need a prescription to get this miraculous Vitamin C-infused antioxidant that fought the skin's aging process by actually restoring already UV damaged skin cells. Greta never forgot to moisturize her skin as part of her everyday ritual. Lately, she'd return to her old favorite--GreatSkin Glycolic Moisture Crème. She loved the delicious fragrance of grapefruit, lemon, passionflower and pineapple and the way the moisturizer protected her from the effects of free radicals. And amazingly, it actually diminished scarring and skin discoloration, while accelerating her skin's natural ability to renew itself. Ah, heavenly!
And now, the game was on, but Harvard was getting ahead of Yale! Greta was completely absorbed in the action on the field, cheering and shouting along with the crowd, when suddenly, she felt a tap on her shoulder. When she turned around, she gasped. It was Guy Thompson! What was he doing in New Haven? Was he rooting for Yale or Harvard? And more importantly, how would Mark James react to this surprise encounter? Greta braced herself and tried to steady her breath. Well, she thought, no matter what happens, at least she knew her skin looked fantastic!
