#49 - Greta's GreatSkin Beauty Tricks are a Real Treat!
Greta slipped on her Halloween mask and tiptoed into the darkened Soho loft. Actually, it wasn't all that dark. In fact, the modern and thoroughly artistic space was luminous with hundreds of candles scattered all about. The spectacular view from the huge floor to ceiling windows overlooked the Manhattan skyline. Yes, this was Guy Thompson's home in the City. How exquisite, Greta thought, and as a jazzy Louis Armstrong song came and he crooned, "isn't it wonderful?" Greta breathed deeply and looked around at the party guests dressed up in costumes. There were witches and cats, bears and wizards. Some creatures from outer space and even a few not-that-scary-looking vampires.
"Guess who!" A deep voice whispered in her ear. Greta turned around to face a tall man dressed up in a Phantom of the Opera costume. "Oh, Guy!" she cried. You surprised me.
"And you must be Little Red Riding Hood!" Guy laughed, gently brushing one of her long braids to the side. "Exactly!" Greta said, adjusting her red cape. "So, did you bring the big bad wolf with you?"
"What do you mean?" Greta asked, accepting a slightly scary looking green cocktail from a waitress/goblin. "Greta, I'm talking about your beau, Mark James." "Oh, he'll be here soon," Greta assured him.
"That's a shame. I thought I'd have you all to myself," Guy sighed. "How do you do it?" And before Greta could ask him what he meant, he leaned in and whispered "How do you keep me so mesmerized, Little Red Riding Hood?"
Greta knew how she did it and it had nothing to do with costumes! Just that morning, she had begun her new fall skincare regime, beginning with GreatSkin Papaya Enzyme Cleanser. This foamy cleanser with its delicious aroma not only removed debris with papaya enzymes but also cleared her pores, leaving her skin radiant and completely energized. Next, she indulged in GreatSkin Exfoliating Papaya Enzyme Scrub. It contained tiny sloughing beads that gently uncovered fresh layers of skin and made Greta glow--especially by candlelight! And just that afternoon, Greta had treated herself (no trick here!) to a fabulous GreatSkin Soft Papaya and Pumpkin Masque. How wonderful it also contained the antioxidant found in Japanese green tea and botanical extracts from pumpkin seed and comfrey. Perfect for an autumn day.
Once cleansed, Greta applied GreatSkin Papaya Toner. This alcohol-free toner stimulated and refreshed her skin with cucumber, geranium and sage extracts. Finally, Greta protected her skin with GreatSkin Glycolic Moisture Crème, a vitamin-infused moisturizer that not only diminished fine lines, but protected her skin from the damaging effects of free radicals and made her look luminous, beautiful and yes, irresistible.
Greta smiled at Guy and Guy smiled at Greta and even though she was spoken for, she could hear her heart skip a little beat as Louis Armstrong's refrain came on…"And I think to myself, what a wonderful world."
