Lori's Tips for Soft, Smooth and Supple Hands During Cold, Dry Winter Months

During flu season, with the increased use of alcohol-laden antibacterial sanitizers and washing our hands with soap more often, the skin on our hands can dry out causing them to become dry and chapped. After washing, apply a glycerin, shea butter, or petroleum-rich hand cream to lock in moisture and protect hands from cold winter air. I recommend L�Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream or LaRoche-Posay Xerand Hand Repair Cream. Also, be sure to wear gloves outdoors to protect your hands from environmental assault.
